He thought the United States would be full of curious creatures and people, perfect for Anansi's jokes. He packed his sack, grabbed his trusty web, and said goodbye to his friends in Africa.

When I was a little kid/youngster/wee one, my grandma/granny/nana would tell me the most/finest/greatest stories. They were always about her childhood/growing up/life back then. She'd talk about playing in fields/running through meadows/exploring forests with her friends/siblings/playmates and goodies on summer afternoons/warm evenings. Her stories always made me feel like I was there/imagine myself in those times/picture it all vividly. They were so exciting/full of adventure/always a delight to hear/listen to/be told.
